Our Lenexa manufacturing facility is looking for Production Machine Operators who desire to help drive a safe, quality and productive environment. Individuals who are safety aware, mindful of producing quality products and have the desire to learn.

Positions open now for day and night shift with competitive base pay starting at $13.00 per hour, uniforms provided, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, life insurance with benefits eligibility beginning first day of the month following 30 days after hire, paid holiday's, 2 weeks vacation from date of hire to anniversary date, sick time provided and PPE reimbursement up to $180 per year.

Shift schedules to run 24/7 plant. Regular schedule is working 7 days of twelve hours shifts in a 14 day period. That means 7 days off out of 14 days. Every other weekend is a 3 day weekend with working two day on, two days off, two days on, two days off, three days on, and three days off. Day shift hours: 6am - 6:15pm; Night shifts hours 6pm - 6:15am

In the Manufacturing Machine Operator position, you will participate in line setup and production of products with low mix products and high volume. Ensure machine are operating effectively and efficiently and that production needs are met through daily production efforts. Operate machines,  perform light maintenance and housekeeping to keep work cells and plan clean. Perform work that is within safety and quality guidelines.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Produce product to quality specifications at required rates of production.
  • Ensure machines utilized are operating effectively and efficiently; seek maintenance assistance when machines are malfunctioning.
  • Use correct packaging materials for product being produced and pack correct quantities per work order.
  • Properly label product in a manner that shows pride and quality in workmanship
  • Correctly record production information on work orders, process sheets and other paperwork and turn in at end of shift in a timely manner.
  • Correctly complete Hold Tags if product does not meet quality standards and ensure product is moved to hold area.
  • Clean and maintain equipment in work area during and at the end of each shift.
  • Adhere to safety procedures in all actions.
  • Adhere to all company policies.
  • Time in and time out properly according to company policy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to comprehend, read and write in English.
  • Basic math skills and use of hand tools.
  • High school diploma, GED or 1 year relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Past experience as a machine operator with setup duties.
